This tester is used for determine the ability of the shoe materials (upper, lining and soling materials…) to withstand the heat due to shoemaking operation such as embossing, crimping, toe and seat flanging, hot blasting…etc. Place the specimen in contact with a hot metal surface under a constant pressure for a short fixed period of time to assess visually if there is any damage to its surface
